The 5 strands of my Holistic Model of Teaching

My Core Values

  • Empowerment

I empower my students to take charge of their learning, fostering independence and self-confidence while providing the guidance they need to feel understood and valued.

  • Holistic Development

I prioritise the overall growth of my students, addressing academic skills alongside life skills, emotional health, and career readiness. Understanding each child's unique strengths and challenges is key to this approach.

  • Inspiring Confidence

I inspire confidence by celebrating students' efforts and achievements. As a mentor, I aim to support their academic and personal growth, helping them prioritize their well-being and develop resilience for a lasting positive impact.

  • Compassionate Support

I foster an atmosphere of empathy and understanding, where students feel safe to express themselves and grow. This supportive environment nurtures aspirations and views mistakes as valuable learning opportunities.

  • Inclusivity

I create a welcoming environment that celebrates diversity, ensuring every student feels respected and included. I adapt my teaching methods to accommodate all personalities, including shy or introverted students.

  • Individual Support

Every student is distinct, and I take the time to understand their individual needs. This ensures they feel seen and valued in our learning environment, allowing for personalised guidance.

  • Kindness and Understanding

A kind and understanding atmosphere is crucial for student comfort. I cultivate a space where aspirations are nurtured and students feel safe to express themselves without fear of judgement.

  • Patience

I recognise that learning is a journey that varies for each child, especially for those with ADHD, dyslexia or autism. My patient approach allows students to progress at their own pace, free from pressure.
